“Trending colors right now would be different shades of brown greens and oranges. Abstract/lines and French tips are very trendy along with a little bit of floral too! A lot of clients are mixing these things together, maybe one or two French tips with a few lines & some solid nails. Chrome is also super trendy, and there are fall chromes! Brown, rose, purples, greens, and mauve tones!” 

Statement Lips 

While the focus on eyes remains strong, lips are not to be ignored. Statement lip colors in deep, rich shades like plum, wine, and berry are the talk of the town. These captivating hues bring warmth and intensity to the face, perfectly complementing the fall aesthetic. Additionally, matte and creamy finishes both find their place in this trend. “Fall and winter are the perfect times for a bold lip and those deeper shades. But if you’re anything like me, you’re busy and don’t have time to baby your lip color. I found the most amazing, opaque lip stains that last all day and are extremely easy to apply. And best of all, they are super affordable, and you can find them at most drug stores or on Amazon. It’s the Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink lipstick. But there is a trick with them though, so listen closely.” 

Application tips

“Before you apply you want to shake the bottle for at least 20 seconds and mix all the long-lasting ingredients together. Apply a thin layer in sections starting with your bottom lip. Do not rub your lips together until the lip color is completely dry. These are long wearing, transfer proof and non-drying. What’s great about the Maybelline lipsticks is you can wear them more matte, or you can add a lip gloss to gloss them up. They’re very versatile and won’t dry out your lips.
