My Experience As A Licensed Medical Aesthetician

I moved to Boise, Idaho, as a licensed medical Aesthetician looking to find the best beauty services for myself, thinking I would have no problem finding the professionals I was looking for. This seems to be a journey that so many people have taken over the last few years, and when I arrived in Boise, I immediately saw that there would be a potential to showcase the talent here in the beauty industry.

Being so new to the area, I felt as though everyone was looking for the same services: hair, nails, spray tans, lashes, and injections. As you are probably well aware, the beauty industry is colossal, and sometimes, even the professionals don’t know where to start. Referrals from customers were great, but I always felt as though I was having to try out so many different businesses before finding perfectly suited places that I thought gave exceptional customer service and an overall great and unforgettable experience.

By this point, I had been in the beauty industry for 17 years and knew exactly what great customer service should be and what high-quality services look and feel like. So, I thought to myself, “What if there was a website that had all the beauty services in one spot?” Cue Boise Beauty Connection – a place to find licensed professionals who may not have all the tools or resources for marketing on big platforms but do not fall short of talent as artists within their professions. 

Founding A Resource for Showcasing and Promoting Local Beauty Business Talent

So, my team and I decided to start an Instagram and Facebook page to show my passion and interest in showcasing and promoting talent in the beauty industry right here in the Treasure Valley. I’ve honed in on my skills and have taken my creative skills to create content for local professionals by promoting their art and highlighting their talents. After starting the social pages (because there is no other way in 2023 than via social pages), there was an enormous amount of gratitude from these professionals that would come through via emails and DM’s, all thanking me for taking the time to showcase their business.

Fast forward almost a year into starting this extraordinary adventure, and it’s time for the launch of our website! I cannot be more grateful and excited for the journey thus far, and I am so keen for all of you residing within the Treasure Valley to be able to experience this hub of passion and professionalism.
